2 - Chapel of Blessings

A place of prayer in which pilgrims and visitors can ask for the Blessing of God for themselves, for their own families and for the objects of devotion that they ask to bless.
And also a place of information about the Infant Jesus of Prague, about the Shrine and also about the communities of Discalced Carmelite friars and the sisters of the Mother of Carmel.

4 - Confessions

Inside the Basilica, in the transept side to the sea, there is space dedicated to the confessions. In this service the Carmelite Fathers dedicate attention, guaranteeing their presence every day during the opening hours of the Shrine. They make spiritual direction those who want by appointment.

Next to the Basilica there is a very good store of souvenirs and articles of devotion to keep more vividly the memory of your visit.

6 - Botanical garden

Behind the Shrine you can admire a characteristic and rich exhibition of succulent plants. It is accessed through a staircase to the left side of the Shrine. The exhibition is always open also during lunch time ...

7 - The Seminary

Adjacent to the convent is the minor Seminary that was built in 1950 by the decision of Provincial, Fr. Anastasio of St. Rosario (Ballestrero), later archbishop of Bari and Turin and cardinal. You can access it through the rich nursery of the succulent plants and one of the internal corridors.

9 - Teresian Room

A large room called “Teresiana” in honor of St. Therese has been the seat of the cultural activities of the Sanctuary for years.
Since the year 2000, the hall has a multipurpose use: used as a chapel for prayer and celebration of the Mass in several languages, or simply used as a room for large groups.

The Shrine of the Infant Jesus rises in Arenzano on a hill (50 meters above sea level) in one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the area with a great view of the Gulf of Genoa.

It is one of the most characteristic and significant shrines in all of Liguria. Each year, thousands of pilgrims, visitors or simply tourists come to visit it as a traditional destination.

The complex is very wide and both inside and outside contains interesting artwork.
