In the niche is the statue of the Saint, Doctor of the Church and founder of the Discalced Carmelites, together with St. Teresa of Jesus. The chapel is rich in friezes and high reliefs, representing scenes of the saint’s life, with garlands and colors. The frontal, in mosaic, represents the Saint among the Carmelite brothers.

The three windows of the Balmet depict: John and Teresa, John and Christ, and John healing a worker.
