Chapel of St. Theresa of Jesus

She was the reformer of the Carmelite Order and a Doctor of the Church. Saint is portrayed in the classical attitude: open the book and pen in her hand. She fixes her eyes on the divine light which inspired her to write. The antependium in mosaic, depicts Teresa among the Fathers and the Nuns.

On the side walls, there are two great frescoes depicting the transverberation of her heart and her crowning.

The three windows of the Balmet depict: the Flight of Teresa and Rodrigo, the writer Teresa and the Infant Jesus who appears to Teresa.
