To the right of the front, leaning against the transept sea side, there is the cloister dedicated to Our Lady of Carmel, whose marble statue stands in the center, in a little patch finished with black and white stones. Under the arcades, which crown the cloister, are the depictions of the twelve mysteries of the Infancy of Christ and, on the entrance door to the transept, Biancini’s majolica depicting the Multiplication of the loaves.

Above the cloister, in the external wall of the transept, you can see the coats of arms of S. Giovanni XXIII, of the B. Paolo VI and of the Cardinal Siri.
