The Sea Transept

The transept (with the other measure 40 m in length) has a barrel ceiling and along the trabeation we read in the following biblical inscription: “All the nations will come to you and worship you, Lord, and they will glorify your name because he is holy “.

Along the walls are the majolica tiles of  Biancini depicting: the Nativity, with the Child Jesus (on the right) and the Immaculate Conception (on the right of the altar).

The three round windows and the four rectangular ones, designed by A. Leoni and made by the firm F. Quentin of Sesto Fiorentino.
